		<description>Yes I agree. In this case she is suffering, and has undergone several treatments. It would be nice to have a set of guidelines, but I fear that the UK government won&#039;t be interested in it.</description>

		<description>Well now that&#039;s a hairy subject isn&#039;t it?  Sure some people should be able to die when they want to.  Of course is someone knows an illness is going to make them suffer until they do die in 6 months or a year, they should  have the option to just be done with it.  But if the government made this legal, it would have to be done with a lot of conditions. There are an awful lot of people who, at some point in their lives, were sure that they wanted to die, but when they didn&#039;t take their own lives, then later things got better and they were glad they didn&#039;t.  I think if someone is sick and there&#039;s no way they&#039;ll survive it, then yes they should have that option... but only after at least three or four different medical opinions verifying that they will definitely not survive the illness and will suffer until they&#039;re dead.  After all, doctors can be wrong too.</description>
