There was an item on the news the other night, about a skydiver (Michael Holmes) whose parachute failed to open properly, and his reserve chute also did not open. The helmet camera captured his fall down to earth, at 100mph. And stunningly – he survived.
The Times ran an article today saying that the skydiver had released a video of his fall. As you can see from the link, the video has been removed due to copyright claims by Associated Newspapers Limited.
As far as I’m concerned – this is reasons 1 through 1000 NOT to skydive…
