This week has just flown by!
I can’t believe tomorrow is Friday, already! But then, the weekends always seem to go just as fast, or even faster.
Today I attended the funeral of George Ireland, my stepfather’s uncle. He was a good man, worked hard all his life, brought up a family which we commented on today was quite large and widespread, founded and built his own business and served the community as a councillor for many years. I have to say my memories of him are all good, even though it was a very long time ago that I saw him last.
The amount of people attending the funeral was impressive, there were a lot. There was barely an empty pew in church, and they even had chairs laid out.
