Actually I say ‘quiet’ only because I was looking after the parent’s house for the weekend. They went away for a quiet weekend to Newmarket, and I got the day off on Friday and looked after Jodie (their dog). I took the laptop hoping that their internet would just ‘hook up’ with mine, but I forgot that I removed the necessary software.
So it was a weekend of SkyTV, which wasn’t necessarily so bad.
This morning however was so beautiful, with the mist hanging over the fields and the (very) early sun giving everything a rich amber hue. And surprisingly, the temperature wasn’t bad either, I didn’t need a coat when I walked Jodie.
