It’s just at that time of the year when the flowers are starting to bloom, the trees have their full coat of leaves on them, and you can -just- smell the sweet scent of pollen in the air. All very well and good. Not so good if you suffer from hay fever, chronically.

When I lived in the US it wasn’t a problem, for some reason none of the pollens there affected me. I come back here and it smacks you in the face (well, the nose and eyes actually) welcoming you back to old blighty.

It’s nice, it’s so pleasant especially in the balmy weather we’re having, but in a week or two I know I’m going to sniffling and crying like a newborn. :(
