Apparently, and notice I say that word apparently, we had an earthquake last night. And it was about oooh, 12 miles down the road where the epicentre was (Market Rasen). Not that I knew of course, because like most people at 1am I was fast asleep. And I can sleep through hurricanes, tornadoes etc., so a little earthquake really isn’t going to do much.

My brother said the house was shaking, my niece woke up screaming. Work-mates said they woke up or their spouses did, the bloody news has been talking non stop about it, all these people saying chimneys fell down, houses shook, and so on. Not here, at least not here for me.

So all in all, it was a pretty disappointing earthquake in the UK.
