By the way, that old ugly bashed in pile of eyesore bricks was finally brought to the ground today! Woo hoo! So, now the fuddy duddies, who didn't put their money where their mouths were and buy that sad old ugly celebration of the <strike>pollution</strike>industrial age and RENOVATE it, have nothing much to work on now. Good! I say. There's something wrong with a street in a town of about 70,000 that is busy (I really mean this, almost rush hour busy) until 10pm every night!

There are tough balances to make, but when we're talking about factories, as you are, it's not a tough one to make is it?

I think that these fuddy-duddies as you put it, really do need to take a look at the world for the generation that is coming, not for themselves.

Great response MrCorey!

They are citing THEIR environment. Oh, their poor eyes! They'll have to take something new in! I would rather see the wind at work any day than to have my respiratory health jeopardized by breathing in the output of burned fossil fuels! We have the same fuddy-duddies here, trying to preserve one of the ugliest buildings that I've ever seen because it used to be an old factory that hasn't been in business for nearly a century. They'd rather keep traffic snarling along in the morning along with the clog caused because this old eyesore hasn't yet been bulldozed for a throughway. Meanwhile, transit routes are crippled because of this situation. They don't seem to mind that the developer who built their fancy new home, which is part of the cause for this traffic problem, had to bulldoze a marsh and two beaver ponds to make way for their shiny new home!

So, they'd rather celebrate a church spire, which is one of the biggest impracticalities of a building ever created, than a windmill, which is a symbol of FREEDOM from big oil and coal companies?
