Not having a garden, I generally don’t have to worry about garden implements or furniture, but I’m sure that many do. Two friends of mine at work decided that they needed to supplement their income (as we all do with the rising prices of everything) by trying to found their own business.

They did this by building benches from scratch. At first, we all took the piss at work, I mean it was a bit of a joke. I have to say though, having seen the bench (and my brother having bought one), that they are well made, sturdy as hell, and likely to last a good ten years if taken care of.

The picture is just as my brother was coming to pick it up. As you can see it’s well-built, and I’d say their business has some promise if they can find other people to buy them.
