Some companies do provide the faster link, yes. But that&#039;s not everywhere and there has to be the fiber laid down in the ground for framework to your door, which just isn&#039;t the case everywhere. So 100Mbps may be possible in say, London or Birmingham or Manchester, but that&#039;s about it. And yes, you&#039;ll be paying through the nose for it.</description>

But I thought I read an article (long time ago) that in the UK there were a few companies that were providing 100Mbps ISP services. Pricey, but available.</description>
