After watching that marathon slog for the Wimbledon gold trophy, I still think that Federer wasn’t putting everything in. He didn’t seem as skilled or fine-tuned as he usually does. There were one or two points but it just seemed as though he was coasting.
I thought that Roddick was going to win there though, he nearly had Federer on the ropes, but it was just not meant to be.
So congrats Federer, 15 grand slam titles, hell of a tally, and fitting to win it with the greatest tennis tournament in the world, Wimbledon.
