Keep us up to date on this. I’m still on XP. IMO XP was right on the money in its days, Vista not so well.
You know how XP and Vista, in the very early days, had problems with drivers? 7 doesn’t. It installed everything for me, and voila left me with the login screen.
It stacks windows along the bottom bar, grouping them together. So all the computer browser windows together, all the firefox windows together. When you mouseover them it brings them all up to browse through to pick one.
It’s Vista-like in appearance, but there are lots of customization options. The control panel especially is quite user-friendly, laying out all your options in groupings so all the display options, all the security options. When you select one to go further in, on the left side it displays related and similar options that might be of interest.
One thing that I really like, although it’s a small feature, the bottom right side of the bottom tool bar, where the time is, it shows the date too.
An annoying feature is the timeout. It’s set to 10 minutes, and I know it’s easily alterable, but bugged the hell out of me to begin with.
Wow wish i could get the windows 7, however I prefer other people test it out before deal with the hassle… I run vista and have loved it, but then again I am probably one of the few that use it for what it was really created for, true multi-tasking…. LOL …. Im crasy that way.. Please let us know how it works out for you. Your themes look great by the way..
