I feel your pain.
I have to download Firefox every day at work so I can access the comnpanies web site. Everything else is in Internet Exploder
You have to download it every day? Why?
I have to install it in a shell so when I log out of my system, it goes too. LOL
Preaching to the Choir, Richard. I het at least one call/week from folks who’ve infested themselves with scareware or other malware by clicking on popups while browsing with IE 6 or even 7. Every time I get one of these calls, I remind them that I installed both Firefox and Opera on their computers in the past for a reason: so they’d have a choice of browsers that are less affected by these sorts of things (in fact, I have yet to see any of those popups on any of the computers–host or VM–I browse with Opera on).
I dunno… it just seems like people like giving me money…
