I have really gotten into biking to work morning and night, it definately wakes you up in the morning but lately at night, when it’s dark, it’s not much fun. Having just got some lights, I certainly feel safer, but you do get people in cars who drive far too close to you. Some are careful and wait until there’s clear space before passing but others are just impatient and push it.

Up until a few weeks ago it’s was ok, just slightly dark at 5pm, but now it’s pretty much darkness and that’s it. I’ll just have to use more footpaths when I’m sure there aren’t any civilians walking on them…

That’s why I’m thinking of getting a bike, doing one or two rides a week through Hubbard’s Hills, and around the local area. Could do me a world of good. Need a good bike though, anyone got any ideas for a decent bike that’s not going to cost an arm and a leg?
