I can’t believe it, 36 is here.

I think I’ll pretend that it’s 30, and feel much better about it.

Winter should have lasted longer, that’s all I can say. But comfortingly, family got me booze and chocolate, are they trying to tell me something?

Finding the Right Birthday Present

My mum’s birthday is on Thursday and I’ve been racking my brains all bloody week for something to get her. She has pretty much everything she could want, so it’s a nightmare trying to find the right thing.

Going into town is useless too, ‘cos the choices are underwhelming to say the least. Lots of things are personal, and better to be purchased by the person rather than buying them for the person (i.e., crystalware, pottery, clothes etc.,).

So I’ve opted to take her to dinner one week, she should be happy with that. I hope.

After four nice relaxing days (my b’day was on Thursday) off, I’m having to go back to work. *sigh*

Sadly I’m not a millionaire and I can’t decide the hours of work, so I have to get up early like the majority of people, and go to work. What a bloody shame!

On the other hand web and blog design is nearly paying for itself and me too, so I might be able to do that instead. Here’s for working that little bit harder and going on my own. Mac – get in touch you bastard – I need work!
