What a disappointing Grand Prix. Another one.

Lewis just is not having a good season, and it seems that Button and Barrichello are the ones who will battle it out in the last four races. I am happy for Barrichello though, he’s raced for a long time and it’s finally coming together for him.

But Lewis seems to be pushing too hard and it never goes right for him.

Don’t leave it until the last bloody corner! You nearly gave us all a heart attack.

To those who believe that Lewis Hamilton‘s driving is dangerous and erratic, perhaps they should take a step back and examine another world class driver whose antics are far worse in comparison – Schumacher. He wasn’t what you would call a polite driver, many crashes later, stalls in the middle of tracks, shunts into the back of other drivers, and let’s be fair, a very aggressive driving attitude – he won the World Championship seven times.

Lewis may be aggressive but none more so than other drivers. Take a look at Massa last week, barging into Hamilton from the side, Lewis had the driving line and Massa cut the corner and ran right over it to get back onto the track. That left Hamilton right at the back after he got back, but no-one seems to say Massa is dangerous and could cause someone’s death.

Maybe the critics should realise that there is an element of danger and aggression with racing drivers, that urge to win, and give Lewis a well-deserved break. He hasn’t had a stellar season but he still shines bright. Some would say he has had the rough end of the stick several times but he still perseveres. So Lewis, here’s wishing you some good luck this Sunday in China.

I can’t believe this. Paddy just IM’d me and asked if I’d seen the news. Lewis has been given a 25 second penalty for something he hadn’t done wrong.

He was leading into the corner (just), Kimi nearly ran him off the road so he cut the corner. Out of the corner he slowed down, let Kimi overtake him, then down the straight he overtook Kimi again. So where was the offence?

Now he lost the win at Spa, went down to third, and lost points in the Championship. McLaren is right to appeal. Lewis, you did nothing wrong.

Great Grand Prix at Spa, tough luck to Lewis on that corner when Kimi overtook him. Good race all the way though and Lewis never gave up.

Then the rains came, but to be fair Lewis had been catching Kimi up ever since he’d changed to hard tires and he was on him when the rain started. Those last few laps though, omg talk about heart-pounding, I was right on the edge of the sofa. Then Lewis and Kimi went wide and Kimi lost it smashing into the side.

I spent the last lap praying for Lewis not to screw it up and to go slow and thank God he held on. Only five more Grand Prix left now!

I was really looking forward to seeing the , it’s always exciting, and in such tight confines, lots of accidents and close calls. Not like large circuits where you have plenty of space, the drivers are really in a tight place there.

Lewis started out well, but after his wall accident really had to push it. Filled up with fuel they really were on the edge, trying out a new strategy. It really was something to sit and be glued to, the racing was thrilling. Lots of accidents, collisions, and broken bits and pieces, this is how racing should be!

He hung on even though the rain was stopping, and McLaren took a chance putting slicks on but it was worth it, he pulled away from the pack slowly but surely even though the safety car had been out once or twice.

Is this Lewis‘ season? Can he win the crown?

This morning I got up, all excited about the prospects for Lewis Hamilton. After waiting all these months for the racing season to start again, you would understand. Then I checked the BBC news page and there was the result! Goddamnit! They should be prevented from reporting it until it’s shown on the TV at least! Talk about ruining it, almost.

At least he won, though, that’s what’s important I suppose.

After watching the debacle that was the Chinese Grand Prix .. well ok, maybe not that bad, but it was disappointing to see Lewis Hamilton not finish and thus not become World Champion. I just think that McLaren really let him down by not getting him in earlier. For several laps he was struggling, you could his car sliding around, he was going wide on several corners where he would not have normally done, and Kimi was rapidly catching him up and eventually overtook him.

The rear tyres were so worn down the rubber had worn off of them! It was down to the canvas underneath, you should not see that.

So now we (Lewis, I mean) are down to the wire with three drivers vying for the championship on the last race in Brazil. Let’s all keep our fingers crossed and spare a thought for Lewis.
