So something like 135 million Americans are expected to turn up to vote. It amazes me that there are 135 Americans who can be bothered to get up to vote to be honest.

Let’s just hope, and pray, that they vote the right person into office.

My friends who I have spoken to all seem to be voting one way, so it looks encouraging. And from what they say there are huge numbers voting that same way too. So that’s a good start, now we just have to wait.

Anyone think it’s a little hypocritical of Sen. McCain to criticize Sen. Obama on his lack of foreign policy experience, and yet pick a first-time governor as a running-mate who believes that because her state sits next to Russia that gives her vast amounts of experience (is there indeed, any evidence she’s met with cabinet level Russian ministers?). Sen. Obama made a well-thought out choice for running-mate, a seasoned veteran who will probably act as a voice of reason and give good advice on a variety of subjects. President Obama will need lots of advice in the coming years I fear…

Are Americans that clueless that they can’t tell the difference between Obama and Osama? One’s a terrorist and the other’s a democrat – I suppose Republicans do have a hard time telling the difference though!

Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama’s last name is spelled “Osama” on some 300 absentee ballots mailed out this week to voters in Rensselaer County hilltowns.

The image is just shocking, how could three people miss it? Or did they … Republicans after all:

Republican officials were apologetic. “We have three different staff members who proof these things and somehow the typo got by us,” said Republican Commissioner Larry Bugbee. “We really apologize.”

Yes, we’re all sure you do. After all, a black Senator running for President can be quite difficult to distinguish from a bearded robed muslim extremist hiding in Pakistan Afghanistan.
