I have never seen it like this, but the shops were packed today. Especially the supermarket, there was barely standing room. The usual old biddies and thoughtless people walking slow taking up the entire pavement (god I hate that), but other than that still fairly easy to get around.

One thing that I could not get hold of – egg nog. Not a big thing over here in the UK, nowhere as near as big as in the US. Pity, I got used to it! :(
