Updating Dog Blog Theme

Finally, after many years, I’m getting this theme (Dog Blog) updated!

Talk about bringing it from the stone age, this was one of my first wordpress themes, so it’s a little old. It was for a site called The Snood Factory but now the blog section appears to have been removed. Not sure if Jan kept up with it or not.

Now updated for WP 3.0 it’s looking much better thankfully. Just finishing it up right now and it will get updated for a new download. You can see it by looking for the theme switcher near the bottom of the post and clicking on ‘Dog Blog’ – it sets the theme for 10 minutes (currently no way to override it except by changing the theme back to GlassFlare).

Released New News WordPress Theme: Raised Paper

I wanted to just jot a quick note down that I’ve finally got round to releasing the wordpress theme I’ve been working on for a year. It’s a three-, four-, five-, or six-column wordpress theme, lots of options to set, colours, layouts, graphics, and so on.

WordPress Theme Releases

I’ve had the week off, so I have had the time to finish up some work that I’ve really been meaning to get to.

I expanded the News Print v2 WordPress Theme, adding a second sidebar in to it, and fixing up some issues that had been bugging me for a while. The featured post now works as it should, and I added a lot of extras to the theme options in the backend.

I released the Victoriana WordPress Theme yesterday, a two column theme with theme options in the backend, such as colours, sidebar position and so on (that link has screenshots). I’ve actually had this going for months but never really got my teeth into it. Yesterday was the day and it’s now released.

I’ve done some work in the Expression series too, currently there’s Blue and Red, but today I’m released Yellow and Green. These are simple themes, but quite easy on the eyes, good for a newbie starting out.

New Theme @ The English Guy

I’ve been working on a new theme over at The English Guy Web Design, primarily aimed at letting people see and download my themes more easily. This will be something of a large project as I aim to greatly increase this and make it much easier to see all of my themes.

That being said, I need to update a lot of these themes because I just haven’t had the time over the past year or two to update them all. Look out for more soon though!

New WordPress Theme Released: Expression Blue

Just a quick note about the new theme I released today called Expression Blue. This is a two column wordpress theme with theme options in the admin section to set where the sidebar appears (left or right).

This is a mostly blue theme with black but I’m planning on releasing other themes with different colours.

So I’ve finally got around to releasing this theme. Thanks to those who helped out. Thanks to Mac for persuading me to put it up as a premium theme.

There are a couple of bits and pieces that I will be updating on it, possibly adding another menu item along the bottom menu bar, making it something settable in the admin backend. But that’s for another day.

For now, on to other themes and updating them for WP-2.8 and that’s quite a few!

Anyway, take a look at the theme release page: Natural Green WordPress Theme, released as a premium theme, for sale for £29.95 (that’s about $40 or so). Not bad for such a unique theme!

You May Have Noticed the New Theme…

This is something I’ve been working on for some time now, and only in the past couple of week have I really had the time, and effort, to finish it up – the Natural Green WordPress Theme. So this is the debut so to speak, to iron out any kinks I, or you, may encounter. If you notice something please comment about it on this thread.

Just one or two more refinements and you’ll be able to get it, promise!

Ikon WP Theme

Just got finished with my new theme, although it has been working for some time on my main site. The Ikon WordPress Theme is a highly configurable three column theme, allowing the blog owner to set where the sidebars appear, as well as other options such as comments, posted-by, tags and so on.

More will follow as I finish up the accompanying BBPress Theme and Admin Theme.

Work on Ikon Theme Progresses

I am pretty happy with the progress of my new theme on my main site. It’s called ‘Ikon’ and will be a premium wordpress theme release, with hopefully, a soon-to-be-completed bbpress theme as well.

BBpress isn’t such a strong point for me as wordpress but hopefully with this theme under my belt as well as others, I’ll add that feather to my cap and get more in tune with it. Time will tell, I’m going to try to finish it off tonight!

Finished News Print Updates

This has been something I’ve been working on for the past week or two on and off. After updating the OpenAir theme to let it have a left or right sidebar with the options in the admin panel backend of WP, I decided to alter the News Print theme (version 2, not the version 3 yet). This was decidedly more complicated but all in all, just more coding more than anything.

So the release page – News Print v2.0 WordPress Theme – has been updated with the new link, the WP Codex has been updated, and the WordPress forum thread updated too.
